Color Change Process
1. Pick up all doors and drawer front’s to take to the shop and start prepping the wood for either paint or stain.
2. Start stripping or prepping wood in shop.
3. Start staining or painting wood in shop takes 1-2 weeks in shop.
4. Have all doors and drawer fronts done in shop.
5. Start the boxes and frames in customer’s house.
6. Frames and boxes complete in customer’s house.
7. Hang the doors and drawer fronts in customer’s house.
8. Job Complete: Start to finish 1 to 2 weeks long. Big kitchen with baths 2 to 3 weeks start to finish.
Appliances, Flooring & Countertops are taped and tarped for their protection.
The Cabinets are thoroughly cleaned; Using the latest environmentally-friendly solvents to remove buildups of wax, fingerprints, soil, grease, and any other debris.
The Wood is sanded, with special care paid to other rough areas. (Below the sink, above the stove, around the dishwasher, any
other rough area)
The Wood is re-stained with the same original color.
This tames scratches, roughness and color fade; restoring your
cabinets to their original luster.
Three Coatings of clear varnish are applied to seal the woodwork. (Satin, Semi-Gloss and Gloss Finishes Available)
The Cabinets must sit unused for 48 hours afterward to cure the finish in the wood, allowing for a lasting luster and shine.
Afterward, We can also install any new handles You provide for a nominal fee.
Finally, We can also install new countertops. Granite Sile Stone, Caeser Stone or Tile Finishes available. |
